Capt. A. Duck - Resignation

Hello all.

It pains me to write this letter, as I've gotten to know each of you, and enjoy playing with the unit. I feel that there are some issues that I just can't overcome. The continued use of profanity in the server, and in type chat has continued to go unchecked. I have a little girl who likes to watch me play, and she can read what you guys type.

I also have grown tired of constantly repeating myself to get the basics accomplished. I feel disrespected, and it honestly hurts my feelings. I have observed that there are leadership gaps in the executive staff that ammount to empty uniforms. I may have expected too much of them, but I don't expect anything other than what I am willing to give.

Being a relative new player to DODs, and a newer member of the 82nd, I don't feel right in demoting people who were here before me to fix the problems I observe.

I value the friendships I have made. I have thought about this decision for a while, and it pains me to finally come to this decision. I want you all to know, I still consider some of you very close friends. I will remain someone you can talk to, and I look forward to remaining allied with the 82nd AB. I still consider you my DODs friends.

The 82nd has been a learning experience for me, and filled with good times and fond memories. I wish the 82nd continued success, and the best of luck.

Therefore, I regretfully submit this letter as my resignation from Captain of the 82nd Airborne.
